Woo.
Two months? What two months? You're crazy, man. You're just--you're crazy.
A lot going on. A few betas, including Home:
And Warhawk:
But namely Warhawk. Not quite 'killer app,' but the phrase as more or less lost all its meaning; many gamers are waiting until a price drop to even consider the PlayStation 3, let alone invest for a 'single purchase.' It's redundant logic that is more of a catch-22 than anything else. They'll wait for publishers to bring more software, while the same publishers have money on the mind--if no one purchases the system, they won't push for more software. But I digress.
Getting along well in MMOs. We're moving the story in Final Fantasy XI, and the Chains of Promathia is finally starting to come together for me. World of Warcraft had a ten-day trial for the new expansion, which was interesting. One of the new races, draenei, actually made me interested in what intangible story the game had. The blood elves were my first choice, as the community was a massive buzz about them. I didn't see what the hell it was about, though. They didn't bring anything new to the table, and were depressingly generic.
Need to get a job, but for the past month Pintsize, Kissa (even the dog) and I have been sick. The past two days have been particularly miserable; barely able to move and in a constant state of nausea. My attempts have been unsuccessful as it is--Albertsons didn't return my calls and failed to call me when promised despite having 'a lot of spots open.' Well, fine. Stillwater newspapers have quite a few listings online, and it actually looks pretty promising for something above 'food service.'
Lots of Counter-Strike, though. And insomnia.
